#2, 3, and 4 are hard ones at times for me, but I keep trying.

Thanks Tim - funny how much we all have in common.

Jacob - Now that is a good question - I would advise them to really make the investment and to identify resources that could contribute, to split up the workload and to go do it. Unless of course they were in an industry where they should not be concerned with blogging, of which there are a few...

If you were consulting for a large company that gave you this list, what would you tell them?

You've got a nice list here, Chris, and #10 CERTAINLY takes its toll on me.

The big factor for me, though, is an extension of your "valuable to say" points: the fear that I don't have something BRILLIANT to say. Since I blog for my employer and have very wide latitude in terms of what to blog about, it's easy to fall into the trap of "Oh, that's not good enough." You get an idea of what to say, but then you think it's too derivative or too obvious or too cheesy or too whatever, and so you clam up.

The solution, at least for me, is to just let 'er rip anyway. I find that the more I write, the better the posts get, the more comments I get, and so on. Fail forward and all that.

[I hope this comment puts your mind at ease that "no one is going to comment anyway" ;) ]
