I guess I’m one of those people that does not like the term “best practices.” It seems like a conversation ender, not a conversation starter. Best in what circumstances, for what organizations, for what goals, using what kind of social media tools? So many variables. So many possible successful models.
Still, I see your and Brin’s point–That it seems wasteful to reinvent stuff that someone already did. Mmmm…
If there’s one practice I do like, it’s asking questions, which you are doing. So maybe that’s a “best practice.”
